This Takayuki limited production line is made of 45-layer Damascus stainless steel with AUS10 alloy core. These knives have an extremely sharp edge, excellent edge retention, and a balanced feel in the light center.
The handles of these knives are half-rounded octagonal walnut wood for superior professional use. The color of the light dark brown handle is reminiscent of images from Japanese tradition.
The hasp/pad is made from pakkawood (compressed wood fiber), more durable and less prone to cracking.
Each knife is hand-sharpened to ensure maximum sharpness out of the box.
